Write for us
We welcome pitches that offer a fresh, well-defined view of social connection in ordinary life. Send proposals through the Contact page, with a clear subject and a short explanation of what readers will take away.
What we are looking for
Ideas may explore conversation, invitations, shared activities, staying in touch, or the small choices that help people participate in a group. We welcome useful explanations, thoughtful comparisons, background pieces, myth-checking and occasion-specific ideas that do not depend on local rules or professional advice.
A strong pitch
Name the central question, explain why it matters to a general reader and describe the distinct angle your piece would take. Include a brief outline and relevant experience if it helps us assess the proposal. Keep the pitch focused; a broad topic is easier to consider when it has a clear point.
How to send it
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. A pitch is a proposal, not a commissioned assignment, and we cannot promise publication. Please do not send a complete article unless we have requested it.
Connection grows through attention
It need not begin with a grand gesture. A remembered detail, a clear invitation or a little room to talk can change the feel of an ordinary day.
